Kapil dev Ramlal Nikhanj was born on 6 January 1959 at Chandigarh into Punjabi family of Ramlal Nikhanj . Kapil dev father is teak merchant and his mother name is Rajkumari Lajwanti she is a housewife. after the partition of India Kapil dev family moved to Chandigarh. Kapil dev studies at D.A.V School he started his carrier to joined Desh prem Azad – Indian cricketer and cricket coach in in 1971.Kapil dev wife is Romi Bhatia , He married her in 1980 . The beautiful couple had daughter her name is Amiya Dev she was born on 16 January 1996.

Professional Life

Kapil dev gave best impressive debut in November 1975 for Haryana againts Punjab with 6 wicket halus. Helping Haryana to victory , Punjab keep within bound 63 runs only .He end the season with 121 wicket in 30 matches.

Kapil dev ( Haryana Hurricane ) played number of seasons 1976 to 1977 , 1977 to 1978 , 1978 to 1979 ,1979 to 1980 and 1990 ,to 1991

In 1979 to 1980 6-Test home series Kapil dev played against Pakistan he helped India to win 2 test matches by ( taken 8 wickets and making 278 runs ) . While this series He become youngest player to taken 100 wickets and making 1000 runs in test matches .
